1. Who we are

2. What we collect
- Email address, when you sign in, plus a short display name derived from it.
- The date you agreed to the Terms.
- Posts you make: photo, store, in-store spot, price, note, and time.
- Votes and reports you submit.
- Basic technical data: IP address and browser info, used for security, rate limits, and abuse prevention.
- Anonymous usage stats: a random visitor id saved on your device, page views, device type (mobile/desktop), and referrer domain. No advertising trackers. Used only to see how the App is used.
3. What we don't collect
No passwords and no payment details. Your device location, if you allow it, stays on your phone and is only used to sort nearby stores; it is never sent to or stored by us. Photos are re-encoded on your device before upload, which removes embedded metadata such as GPS.
4. How we use it
- To sign you in and keep you signed in on your device (a secure cookie lasting up to one year).
- To show posts and run votes, moderation, and spam protection.
- To send sign-in codes and, occasionally, important updates about the App. You can opt out of non-essential emails.
5. What is public
Your display name and your posts are visible to other users. Your email address is never shown publicly.
6. Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help run the App (hosting, database, photo storage, and email delivery), when required by law, or to protect users and the public.
7. Retention
Posts expire from the feed after 7 days but may be kept for moderation records. Account data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we must keep it for legal or safety reasons.
8. Your choices
You can request a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account by emailing [contact email].
9. Children
The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10. Security
We use HTTPS, secure cookies, and access controls, but no system is perfectly secure.
11. Changes
We will post updates here with a new date and notify users in the App of material changes.
